Submission of the Application
Choirs, ensembles, soloists from all over the world are invited to participate in the Contest in two nominations:

· Professionals (training choirs);
· Amateurs

The Contest is held in the following categories:
  • Category 1 - Children's choirs - the number of participants is not limited. The age should not have more than 18.
  • Category 2 - Equal Voices Choirs Adults (Male and Female). No maximum or minimum age is stipulated. A choir should not have less than 13 singers; the number of participants is not limited.
  • Category 3 - Mixed choirs. A choir should not have less than 25 singers; the maximum of participants is not limited, the age is not limited.
  • Category 4 - Chamber choirs - should not have less than 13 singers not more than 24 singers, the age is not limited.
  • Category 5 - Church choirs - for Female, Male and Mixed choirs from 12 persons that work at churches and cathedrals, the age is not limited
  • Category 6 - Vocal ensembles - participate Female, Male, Mixed and Children ensembles, the number of participants from 3 to 12 persons in the ensemble, the age is not limited.
  • Category 7 - Church, religious and gospel music - for Female, Male, Mixed and Children choirs and ensembles, soloists, the number of participants and the age is not limited.
  • Category 8 - Contemporary music - for Female, Male, Mixed and Children choirs and ensembles, soloists, the number of participants and the age is not limited.
  • Category 9 - Folk music - for Female, Male, Mixed and Children choirs and ensembles, soloists, the number of participants and the age is not limited

Applications for participation are accepted from October 1, 2020 to November 30, 2020.
Contest program
Every choir have to submit 2 works (video or links to records from source as YouTube), the total duration of the competition program is minimum 6 - maximum 10 minutes. One work must be a cappella.

Every choir can participate in several categories.
    Contest terms and conditions
    The choirs that sent the application with all necessary documents and paid the fee are admitted to the Contest. All choirs which have been officially admitted to the Contest can participate.

    With their application, the choirs agree to the rules and conditions of the Contest as well as using photo and video materials for publication on the competition website www.harmoniedescultures.fr, also the best entries will be posted on the organiser's YouTube channel of the Contest.

    Contest materials required:

    • video recordings by category of a live performance (without editing elements, gluing frames, overlaying audio tracks). The video recordings should be filmed not earlier 2018;
    • introduction of the choir (CV) (in English; max 20 lines);
    • introduction the conductor (CV) (in English; max 10 lines);
    • photo of the choir (compulsory, min 2 Mb) and conductor;
      Entrance fee contest
      Choirs – 150 euro per choir (13 and more people)
      Ensembles – 130 euro per ensemble (from 3 to 12 people)
      Soloist – 100 euro

      In case the choir (ensemble) takes part in some categories, every category must be paid. Fee for the second and subsequent categories:
      Choirs – 50 euro per the choir
      Ensembles – 40 euro per ensemble
      Soloist – 30 euro
